Der Multiplayer-Spielspaßgarant Mario Party geht in die fünfte Runde: Diesmal hat Oberbösewicht Bowser vor, die schönen Träume im Land Insomnien in Albträume zu verwandeln. Das können Mario und seine Truppe natürlich auf keinen Fall zulassen und machen sich auf diversen Spielbrettern auf, den Fieslingen die Petersilie zu verhageln! Am genial einfachen und doch so süchtig machenden Spielprinzip hat sich zum Glück nichts geändert: immer noch geht es auf die gute alte Brettspielart mächtig rund. Und die einfallsreichen Minispiele um jede Menge Münzen machen immer noch mit mehreren Spielern am meisten Spaß! Erfreulich groß ist diesmal die Anzahl der Modi: Neben dem Herzstück des Spiels, dem “Party-Modus” für bis zu vier Spieler warten noch folgende Modi: der “Story-Modus” für einen Spieler; der “Minispiel-Modus”, in dem man die freigespielten Minispiele üben kann; der “Super-Duell-Modus” für einen oder zwei Spieler und der ” (more…)

Mario Party”, entwickelt von Hudson Soft (”Bomberman”), ist ein Würfelspiel für die Jüngsten. Anlaß der Würfelei ist ein Streit unter sechs bekannten Nintendo-Figuren, darunter Mario, Luigi und Donkey Kong, wer von ihnen der größte Konsolenheld ist. Für Aufklärung soll ein Wettrennen sorgen, das in sechs kunterbunten Brettspielwelten, inklusive Ereignisfelder, ausgetragen wird. Viele weitere Minispiele und ein cleveres Drumherum mit Geldprämien, Einkaufstouren und geheimen Level halten die maximal vier Spieler bei Laune.

“Wer ist der größte Superstar?” Diese Frage beschäftigt unsere Helden, die mit zum Bersten gespannten Nerven über die Antwort diskutieren. Donkey Kong meldet sich lautstark, Wario läßt seine Muskeln spielen, Yoshi setzt auf Zungenfertigkeit und Mario betont aufgeregt seinen Titel als Super Mario.
